An excellent overview

"Mastering the I2C bus" is a clear, concise overview of the I2C protocol. It details electrical requirements, implementation, and common pitfalls and covers a small sampling of devices. While it is true that a lot of this material is available elsewhere, the book presents the material as a cohesive whole. I've read both books in this series and am anxiously awaiting the next one. Highly recommended.

Overly focused on LabWorX

Of course that was in the title, but I had hoped for some more general discussion of I2C theory and practice. I should have paid more attention to the title. But if you work in any kind of lab (and I wish I had LabWorX before I retired,) then this will provide great help in data logging.

A good book to start with if you have never used I2C before. I2C isn't complicated to use, but each device on the network needs to be well understood.
